2012 Kumoricon Mascot entry

Well, here's my attempt at another mascot for Kumoricon. I'm way happier with this one than the one I did for 2011 (which can still be seen on my portfolio site). Mine was the ugliest thing ever made because I couldn't get a grip on the theme or style that I wanted.

This round, I just focused on what I wanted to incorporarte: movement and magic. This one turned out much more unified. Plus, I gained more experience with digital coloring, so huzzah for that! I'm sure I won't win, but at least this time I'm much happier and prouder with the end result.
